Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 7 June 2026
Liora is a women's health app published by atler. We believe everyone deserves clear, compassionate access to health information and tools — regardless of ability.
We are committed to making Liora and this website accessible to people with disabilities, and to continually improving the experience for all users.
1. Our Commitment
Accessibility is central to Liora's mission. Women's health information should be easy to find, understand, and use. We design with empathy for users who rely on assistive technologies, prefer larger text, need higher contrast, or navigate without a mouse or touchscreen gestures.
2. Accessibility Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where applicable, and we follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility in the Liora iOS app.
Our efforts include ongoing reviews of design, development, and content to identify and address barriers.
3. Liora App
In the Liora app, we work to support accessibility features available on your device, including:
- VoiceOver — screen reader support for navigating the app by voice
- Dynamic Type — text that scales with your system font size settings
- Reduce Motion — respect for system motion preferences
- Color and contrast — readable typography and interface elements designed for clarity
- Touch targets — controls sized for comfortable interaction
We continue to test core flows — including cycle tracking, symptom logging, pregnancy content, and Liora AI — with accessibility tools and real-world usage in mind.
4. Liora Website
On this website, we strive to provide:
- Semantic HTML structure for screen readers and keyboard navigation
- Descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels
- Clear link text and readable headings
5. Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time checklist. Our team regularly:
- Reviews new features and pages before release
- Incorporates accessibility into design and development workflows
- Addresses feedback from users and internal testing
- Updates this statement as our practices evolve
6. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. This can include third-party embedded content, older media assets, or areas of the app and website still undergoing improvement.
We are actively working to resolve known issues and welcome reports of any barriers you encounter.
7. Feedback and Assistance
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of Liora or this website, or if you have suggestions for how we can improve accessibility, please let us know. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will do our best to respond promptly.
When contacting us, it helps to include:
- A description of the issue
- The page or feature involved
- Your device, operating system, and assistive technology (if applicable)
You can reach us through our Contact page or by email at support@liora.app.
